INDEPENDENT LIVING
Referral Partners
We believe the independent living community is stronger together. When your program is at capacity, does not serve a specific population, or cannot meet a particular individual's needs, we want to be the organization you call. Likewise, when we encounter individuals who may be a better fit for your program, we will send referrals your way. This is a two-way street built on trust, shared mission, and genuine mutual respect.

Partners are added to our Referral Partner Network and receive periodic capacity updates
-
Occasional collaboration opportunities may include shared resources, professional development, and community events

Common Questions from IL Referral Partners
Q: Do we need a formal agreement to become a referral partner?
We recommend a simple Referral Partnership Agreement or MOU to formalize the relationship, and our team can initiate that process at no cost to you. Informal referrals are also welcome while that paperwork is in progress — we will not let process get in the way of helping someone.
Q: What information do you share when making a referral?
We share only what is necessary and appropriate — and always with resident consent. This typically includes a brief summary of the individual's situation, the reason for referral, and any considerations the receiving program should be aware of.
Q: What if our programs serve different populations?
That is exactly why these partnerships are valuable. Complementary programs make the broader system stronger. We can still refer to each other even when our populations differ — the goal is always getting individuals the right fit, not the nearest available bed.
Q: How do we get added to your referral network?
Contact us directly. We will schedule a brief introductory call to learn about your program, share information about ours, and determine the best way to formalize and maintain the partnership.
